1Password Stopped Working

Running MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6 with Safari 13.0.1 1Password 6.8.9. Suddenly it stopped working. When I attempt to sign on to the New York Times I click on the 1Password symbol and nothing happens. The last update I installed was Safari. Suggestions?
