Chrome/Edge browser helper status
Dear 1Password team,
We used to have browser extension helper for Chrome/Edge where if your installed 1Password app is already logged in, the browser extension automatically logs in to 1password as well but you guys took that feature away last year. You said you were going to bring it back by Christmas but it is still missing, do you know when we will see this feature again?

Hello @unknownsolo,
We did have a plan to bring it back at the end of last year. However, due to some subjective reasons beyond our control, we couldn't archive our set goal. That said, we are working hard to release the app integration as soon as possible. I can't tell you the exact date, but you can go here for more information and updates.
Currently, only the classic extension allows unlocking with touchID and stays unlocked after closing your browser. You can keep using it without issue since it is an integral part of the 1Password app. You can get the classic 1Password extension from here: https://support.1password.com/cs/1password-classic-extension/ => scroll down to "Install the 1Password classic extension" and select your browser.
