Unable to unlock extension in safari iOS

I’ve dropped support an email but I haven’t received anything back.

So I bought a new iPhone 13, restored the phone from an iCloud backup. So all my apps were already signed into once it did its thing, 1Password included.

Went into safari, says unlock extension. So i enable the extension and it prompts me to enter my master password. But once I do, literally nothing happens. Doesn’t tell me the password is correct or incorrect. Even if I don’t enter a password or enter the wrong password intentionally, nothing happens.

I’ve tried; disabling then re enabling the extension. Deleting, reinstalling the app. Deauthorising then re authorising my device. Doing a soft reset of my phone. Nothing changes.

Autofill above the keyboard still works fine. Just the extension will not work.

iOS 15.1
1Password 7.9.2

As if by magic support have just emailed. In case someone stumbles across this thread..

It’s a known bug. But clicking “Go” on the keyboard after entering your password is the work a round.

Clicking the arrow doesn’t do anything.

  • Glad to hear we were able to get it working for you @chris55!

It's definitely something we're actively looking into to get fixed, so thank you for your patience.
