3 years agoHow do I autofill?
I just upgraded to 1PW 8 on MacOs.
When I go to Wells Fargo, I have to open "quick access" and before, it used to show Wells Fargo from the drop down. When I open "quick access", it auto suggests my 1Password account and not the actual login. I am way lost as a long time 1PW user.
What is happening?

Hey @jkav:
This definitely doesn't sound like the experience we want you to have. Just to confirm, you've installed the appropriate browser extension as well, right?
- If you're using Safari, you can get 1Password for Safari here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/1password-for-safari/id1569813296?mt=12
- If you're using another browser, you can get 1Password for your browser here: Get started with 1Password in your browser
After adding your account to the extension, are you prompted with your Wells Fargo Login when you navigate to the Wells Fargo website? Let me know!

Hi Jack,
I am using Firefox with the "classic" extension. What happened to the drop down from the 1PW lock icon and selecting the login I wanted to use from the list? seems like that has gone away

Hi @jkav:
1Password 8 doesn't support the classic extension. You'll need to use 1Password for Firefox linked here: Get started with 1Password in your browser
After adding it to Firefox, let me know if that improves your state of play!

Hi Jack:
Got it. So classic extensions are no longer supported for Version 8?

Hey @jkav:
That's correct. 1Password 8 only supports the extensions I've linked above.

Thanks. I've just downloaded the browser extension. Can you tell me why I'm seeing 1PW twice? Once in the system tray and once in the browser?

Hey @jkav:
Everything looks good in that screenshot. You can always access 1Password outside of your browser by clicking 1Password in your menu bar, and then you can open the 1Password pop-up in Firefox by clicking the 1Password icon in Firefox's toolbar. Since you're using 1Password 8, you can definitely uninstall the classic extension now.

Can you tell me which one to remove from within Firefox?

@jkav
Remove the one labeled (desktop app required)
For anyone that happens to come upon this. The
(desktop app required)
is the classic extension, which is not used in 1Password 8. The top one in the image is the newer 1Password in the browser.
