Changing DUO 2FA to a push notification instead of manual entry

Just switched from Lastpass after almost 8 years so I am still trying to adjust. One of the things I don't like is how my 2FA is set up with DUO. With LastPass, it was always a push notification that I can easily accept and keep going. With 1Password, I am constantly prompted to enter the DUO code manually which requires me to go out of the app, into the DUO app, and back to 1Password. Just inconvenient seeing as 1Password prompts me constantly unlike LastPass did.

Is this designed to be like this? Or do I need to adjust the setup in some way?

    Hi @ER70:

    Great question. By any chance, do you happen to use the Traditional Prompt or the Universal Prompt? If you're using the Universal Prompt, you should be automatically sent a Duo push, rather than needing to select an authentication method.

    Additionally, you can also adjust the time before needing to re-authorize with Duo. To do this, sign in to 1Password.com, then select Integrations > Duo. Change "Remember device authentications" to the desired number of days.
