1Password extension button disappears from Safari after upgrading to Monterey (12.4)

Prior to upgrading to Monterey, today, 1Password was working fine. After the upgrade to 12.4 I noticed that the 1Password icon was not visible in Safari's (15.5) toolbar. I checked Preferences and it is enabled. If I uncheck it in Preferences, and then check it again, I will see the 1Password button appear for a second, then disappear, then appear, then disappear.

1Password opens fine, though I also see that 1Password mini in the menu bar is inconsistent. If I'm in 1Password and click the menu button, I get the search box. If I'm in Safari and click it, nothing happens.
