Set the fingerprint option on Win 11 reboot?

I'm using an ASUS ROG X13 that does not have a Windows Hello compatible camera but uses a built-in fingerprint sensor. 1Password (v 8.9.0) will ask for the fingerprint when quitting and restarting 1Password but will ask for the Master Password on every Win 11 reboot. Is there an option to have 1Password ask for my fingerprint on reboot instead of the master password? It's bad enough that the master password is required every two weeks on other platforms. If my Windows machine was my primary driver and I had to type in the master password on every reboot, I'd use a different password manager.

  • Hi @markbyrn:

Have you enabled "Use the Trusted Platform Module with Windows Hello" in Settings > Advanced? After enabling that, you'll be able to use Windows Hello to unlock, even after a reboot.

Let me know how you get on with that.

Hi Jack, I did that but it didn't work.
