Certain sites starting to not fill or accept properly
I've used 1P to Fill & Submit for years but recently started to notice it's input being rejected by many sites. (Safari Version 6.0.5 - OSX 10.7.5)
Here are some examples - but I've seen this type of behavior on an increasing number of other sites as well.
- Chase - Auto Submit doesn't happen - one has to mouse over and click login/submit
- Discover - Fills OK but it doesn't "see" the password - even though it's filled in - it reports - "Please enter a password." I have to type or paste it in again manually.
- Capital One - Doesn't fill in the User Name - even though the Username field in the program has the valid credentials.

I'm sorry that you are having some trouble.
Chase - Auto Submit doesn't happen - one has to mouse over and click login/submit
This is a known issue. We actually had to specifically disable autosubmit for Chase many months ago since when it was enabled the Chase site broke the login. :( You don't have to use your mouse, though. You can fill via ⌘\ and then press Return.
Discover - Fills OK but it doesn't "see" the password - even though it's filled in - it reports - "Please enter a password." I have to type or paste it in again manually.
What URL? I can't reproduce on the login page here: https://www.discovercard.com/cardmembersvcs/loginlogout/app/ac_main
Capital One - Doesn't fill in the User Name - even though the Username field in the program has the valid credentials.
I can't reproduce this one either. Please try saving a new Login manually like this:
- Visit the site's login page: https://www.capitalone.com
- Enter your credentials, but DO NOT submit the form.
- Click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar, and select the "+" button in the upper right hand corner.
- Change the title and make any notes (if desired).
- Click the Save button in the upper right hand corner.
Using the above technique I was able to save and fill a sample login at:
Manually saving a new Login can be useful for logins that are either problematic to begin with or were once working but have since stopped. Saving a new Login item allows 1Password to refresh everything it "knows" about the page. Login pages often change as websites are updated and this can be a necessary but very useful tip. I would recommend this for the Discover site as well if you are still having trouble even after using the direct login page I shared above.
I hope that helps. Please let me know.
