Hey there @nulls
Sorry to hear 1Password has been slow for you. It'll be helpful for us to see what 1Password is doing in more detail, so I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Mac:
Sending Diagnostics Reports (Mac)
Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to
support+forum@1password.com
.⚠️ Don't post your diagnostics report here.
With your email please include:
- A link to this thread: https://1password.community/discussion/134177/1password-interminably-slow-if-it-opens-password-at-all
- Your forum username:
nulls
You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here. Thanks very much!

Not comfortable sharing a downloads folder. I emptied it and diagnostics wouldn’t run

When you send a diagnostics report you're not sharing your Downloads folder, can you clarify your concerns a little further? The following article explains what information a diagnostics report contains: About 1Password diagnostics information
Can you restart your Mac and try to generate a diagnostics report again?

I will try but when I clicked on Diagnostics it asked for access to download folder.

Nothing happens when I click diagnostics. Thank you anyway....I will just live with the inconvenience. I had closed all other programs except for VPN. I will just wait until new MAC OS is released

We're here if you need us. Off-hand it sounds as if there might be an open window asking for your approval for perhaps that downloads folder. When you click to create the report you should see the following.
If you open the downloads folder (reveal option) you should be able to locate your report.
