I am trying to stay with 1password 6 but it doesn't open under Monterey.

I like keeping my own vault so I have stayed with version 6 until now. When I installed Monterey on my MacBook Air 1password came up with the password window, but when I entered the password, it just sat there never responding. The compatibility chart says it works with any newer version of MacOS, but I know that the later ones may be unexplored territory. Am I just out of luck trying to keep an old version alive?

1Password Version: 6.8.9
Extension Version: ?
OS Version: macOS 12.6.1
Browser:_ Chrome & Safari & Duck..

  • Hello @Zipper39! 👋

1Password 6 for Mac is no longer supported and hasn't been tested on newer versions of macOS in many years. We strongly encourage you to update to 1Password 8 as soon as you have the chance to take advantage of the latest features, updates, and bug fixes.

I recommend that you send in an email to support+tradein@1password.com so that our support team can see what options are available when it comes to updating to a later version. 🙂
