Chose new item icon does not allow drag-&-drop and resize

Hi,
in old versions of 1Password for Mac, that is before the re-write with version 8, you were able to drag and drop images (e.g. from the browser) to the 1Password icon placeholder to change the item icon.

With the new version 8 for 1Password you only can select an item icon by selecting it from the file system.
Also, you cannot resize the image (zoom-in, zoom-out) and chose the visible area, anymore, too.
This is a step backward.

Why do I care?
Because sometimes 1Password is not able to download an item icon though I have provided a website URL and if I want to change the icon image, I now have to download the image first, before being able to select it as new image, in contrast to just drag-and-drop it from some source, like from a website.

So, I want to ask you 1Password devs:
Can you bring back the drag-&-drop functionality for changing the item icon in 1Password for mac please?
And also consider adding back the icon resize and view move.

These are functions that I were used to in old versions of 1Password and with the re-write they are now gone.
This is disappointing for me!
