extension won't install in Microsoft Edge Windows 11

Attempting to install the 1password browser extension in microsoft edge in a brand new install of Windows 11. I get the following error message.

Hi @CCD! I'm sorry to hear that you've run into this error when trying to install 1Password in Edge. As a first step, could you make sure that Edge is fully up to date, and then restart your computer and try to install the extension again?
