Autofill doesn't work on some websites

Options

I have tried in Safari and Firefox. One such website is my banking website, https://www.pnfp.com. I have also seen this issue present itself on various Disney websites. 1Password correctly shows the login for the website in the browser extension, but clicking on the login does not populate the username/password fields.

1Password Version: 1Password for Mac 8.10.4 (81004032)
Extension Version: 1Password in the browser 2.10.0
OS Version: 13.3
Browser:_ Safari

  • Hi @groomsy , thanks for reaching out!

I took a look at the pnfp.com site and was able to autofill without any issue. I'd like to ask you to create a new login item for this website. I've included the steps for this process below:

    1. Go to the https://www.pnfp.com login page.
    2. Type in the correct Username and Password for your account manually - don't click login.
    3. Right-click the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar.
    4. Select "Save Login", then rather than updating the item, select "Save new item" in the dropdown menu.
    5. Ensure the correct vault is selected and give the item a new name that you can recognize in order to separate it from your original login item. Once this is done, click "Save".
    6. Refresh the login page.
    7. Try filling with the newly created login.

If you are able to autofill successfully and access your account, you can go ahead and delete your old login item in 1Password. If you had any additional details included with your original item, be sure to add them to the new item before deleting the original.

Additionally, can you confirm which Disney webpages you've been experiencing similar issues on, so we can take a look?

I look forward to hearing from you!

Thanks David. I appreciate your help.

I created a new login item for Pinnacle and I can now autofill my account.

The Disney issue is a bit weirder. I have a single login item in my vault with multiple URLs. Autofill works for https://disneyworld.disney.go.com (My Disney Experience > Sign In or Create Account), but does not work for https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/sign-in.

You're welcome, @groomsy! It's good to hear that things are working with your Pinnacle item.

As for the issue with https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/sign-in, I am able to reproduce the behaviour on this site and can confirm that this is due to a known issue that our development team is investigating. I have let our team know about your experience and apologize for any inconvenience.

In the meantime, you can use the following steps to autofill on this site instead:

    1. Navigate to https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/sign-in.
    2. Click the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar.
    3. Ensure the Disney Vacation Club Login item is selected, then click the "Autofill" button.

Let us know if you have any questions!

That works for me David. Thanks for the workaround and for following up with the development team.
