I had to replace my iPhone recently and now the unlock with apple watch feature doesn't work. I have reset the watch and the phone, and nothing works. Any ideas?

    Hi there @RicardoLonUK

As a first measure, can you try these steps on your Mac and tell me if they help?

⚠️ These steps must be completed in this exact order.

    1. Click the  Apple menu > System Settings...
    2. Choose the Privacy & Security section in the sidebar.
    3. Turn off "Use your Apple Watch to unlock apps and your Mac".
    4. Shut down your Mac. Don't just restart it!
    5. Restart your Apple Watch.
    6. Start up your Mac again.
    7. Turn "Use your Apple Watch to unlock apps and your Mac" back on.
    8. Open and unlock 1Password.
    9. Click 1Password > Preferences..., then the Security tab.
    10. Turn on "Unlock with Apple Watch" again.

If that doesn't do the trick, let me know and I can look into this further with you. :)

Thanks for the information, I tried the above steps and i1Pasword says it is trying to unlock with apple watch, but it doesn't work. Also my Mac doesn't unlock with my watch, it tries to, but nothing happens.

I'm sorry that the steps didn't resolve the issue. If you're also having trouble unlocking the Mac itself then that suggests a deeper issue in macOS or watchOS that would need to be resolved first before we could look into the 1Password-specific issue. I recommend that you reach out to Apple Support for more assistance: Official Apple Support

Once you're able to unlock the Mac itself using your Apple Watch please let me know if you're still unable to unlock 1Password and I would be happy to help further. 🙂
