What is the purpose of the inbuilt browser?
Even though I'm a long-time user of 1Password, I'm still frequently confused about how it works. I was trying to log onto a website on my iPad Pro which I have in 1Password and I decided to use 1Password's own built-in browser (by tapping the URL field in the entry). That took me to the site, but it did not offer to enter my email address! I thought it would be a more certain way of accessing sites if 1Password failed to offer to fill in the email or password in a third-party browser like Safari, so I don't understand why it didn't offer to fill in the info in its own browser. Am I confused about the purpose of the inbuilt browser?

Hello @Timothy Arends! 👋
It looks like you're using an older version of 1Password for iOS which did indeed come with a built-in browser. The built-in browser comes from an earlier time when native filling wasn't available in iOS and before we could introduce 1Password in Safari.
1Password 8, our latest version, no longer includes the built-in browser and I recommend that you upgrade: Upgrade to 1Password 8
Once you've upgraded you can use 1Password in Safari for the best filling and saving experience: Get to know 1Password for Safari on your iPhone or iPad
And you can turn on Password AutoFill to fill in apps other than Safari: Use 1Password to fill and save in apps and browsers on your iPhone and iPad
I hope that helps!
