Watchtower score never refreshes

I've addressed scores of issues raised in Watchtower, but my score never changes. Hasn't budged in well over a year, possibly two. Are others having the same issue?
Is there a way to force refresh of the score?

  • Hello @spinoza! 👋

Thanks for the question! The Watchtower score is meant to provide a general idea of how secure your items are. Some “fixes” don’t result in a whole number increase to the Watchtower score and you might need to fix quite a few items in order to actually see the score go up.

You can see if your score is still being updated by toggling the automatic update setting:

    1. Open and unlock 1Password for Mac.
    2. Click on 1Password next to the  in the menu bar.
    3. Click on Settings.
    4. Click on Advanced.
    5. Turn off "Install updates automatically". You should see your score decrease.
    6. Turn on "Install updates automatically". You should see your score increase.

Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm sorry that the score still isn't changing. I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Mac:

    Sending Diagnostics Reports (Mac)

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support+forum@1password.com.

    With your email please include:

    Please send the entire file.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here. Thanks very much!
