mac extensions

Hi,
I'm new at this. I just installed 1 password for the first time. During the installation this window came up. I'm not sure what it means. Thank you.

1Password Version: 8.10.33
Extension Version: 2.23.3
OS Version: 1207.5
Browser: safari 17.5

    Welcome to 1Password! 🎉 Are you referring to the message that says: "This extension can read and alter webpages you visit and see your browsing history on all websites."

    If you are then I'm happy to explain this message. The 1Password extension requires access to your browsing history in order to know which website you're visiting so that it knows which login item to suggest. Without this permission 1Password for Safari would be unable to know what login to suggest and unable to find the fields on the page to fill.
