Touch ID keeps getting turned off
Touch ID keeps getting shut off. I select to use Touch ID in settings. After some time, sometimes overnight, I come back and the box for Touch ID is unselected and I have to type my password. This is on my Desktop Mac Mini at home, so it is set to use Touch ID, and never have to type password. This started about 2-3 nightlies ago.

I'm on the Beta channel for macOS Sonoma to get round problem with errant migration pop-up (81036001) and now TouchID setting refuses to turn on. (I see a very brief flash of a tick mark)
Update: Actually if I tick "Apple Watch" as an unlock option then Touch ID tick icon activates. But as per the OP TouchID turned itself off between yesterday and today.1 -

I appear to be having the same problem.

I seem to also be having the same problem. I am sending a diagnostics report.

I believe I have the same issue.
Could not work out why I was repeatedly asked for a password so checked setting and both Touch ID and Apple Watch were off. I did not turn them off.
Turned them on, will see if they go off again.

Now 1Password says
"Touch ID sensor is currently unavailable. You need to sign in using the account password."
I have just locked my screen and unlocked it with the Touch ID so it is working.

Same issue here, on both my personal and work machine with beta. Moving back to production.
Alongside the Touch ID support disabled, my SSH agent also gets disabled along with all the developer options.

I noticed the same thing with SSH agent and all the developer options being disabled. It's annoying, but I'll wait until they fix it rather than moving back to stable.

Hey folks,
If you have the time, please email the team a diagnostics report. It could be the same reason or different reasons for each of you. Due to the timing, I suspect it's the same, but I do not have access to any logs to verify that. Your reports will help the team understand more about what happened.

I keep having to re-check using touch iD to open 1Password even though I have selected "never" to force use of the password.. Very annoying.

This is happening to me as well. I am on the beta channel - 1Password for Mac 8.10.36 (81036010). I just emailed a diagnostic report to that email address.

I forgot to add - my support ticket number is NRS-25871-518.

Oops, I seem to have created another ticket with my last update, it is GGL-12219-154.
It is odd because I did reply to an email that had the original [CES-79548-763] ticket number in the subject line.

Your report is here. It looks like my colleague Jac replied to you recently. Please continue the conversation via email. Thanks.

For those on BETA or Nightlies, 1Password for Mac 8.10.36 (81036032) appears to have resolved the issue. Yesterday and Today seems to be working as expected. 👍🏻
