Windows 11 Desktop app fails to open
This has had a couple of times now to me and one of my colleagues, using the desktop app (version 8.10.36), the app suddenly and quietly closed yesterday afternoon and attempts to launch it from the pinned task bar app or the start menu fails, no errors or dialogues or GUI is shown.
This issue also happened on a previous version so isn't specific to the latest 1Password release.
When trying to execute 1password.exe from the command line I get:
[7552:0717/100946.235:FATAL:asar_util.cc(163)] Integrity check failed for asar archive (7dd80be917b4508de5efff59b92dab0a5c36615467e19f85fe8ef48b63a8e842 vs 67c2f1090f8c6efe0cc6805c80efedd7bc1512be9dbc7f1f9328eff067c3d838)
[7552:0717/100946.235:ERROR:crashpad_client_win.cc(868)] not connected
The issue is usually resolved after a restart. The Microsoft Edge browser extension continues to work during this time.

Hi @matt99, thanks for reaching out! I understand that occasionally 1Password 8 closes and won't open again, and you get an integrity check error when trying to launch from the command line, though a restart gets things working.
Could you email in to
support+forum@1password.com
with a diagnostics report from 1Password, so we can look into this further? With your email please include:
