Has the kinks been worked out, so 1Password works better with Safari? I'm still using Chrome on my Mac. I rather use Safari.

  • Hello @huskym1025! 👋

Thanks for reaching out. There are some outstanding issues that the team is working on fixing with 1Password for Safari as there are for every browser (including Chrome). Quite a few fixes and improvements have been implemented recently that are specific to 1Password for Safari:

    • We’ve fixed an issue in Safari where you’d get multiple prompts to use a passkey to sign in if you had cleared your history.
    • We’ve fixed an issue where Login items were not filtered when typing in a username field in Safari.
    • We’ve fixed an issue where the 1Password pop-up could open with a very narrow width in Safari.
    • We’ve fixed an issue where you couldn’t download files from Dropbox when 1Password for Safari was turned on.
    • The inline menu now works correctly when using the arrow keys to navigate it in Safari.
    • We’ve fixed an issue where you couldn’t reveal your account password when unlocking 1Password for Safari.
    • We’ve fixed a memory leak in Safari.
    • We’ve fixed an issue that prevented clicking and dragging the scroll bar in the list of items in Safari.

And more! If you decide to try 1Password for Safari again and run into any issues then please let me know. 🙂

I am trying 1Password again with Safari. So far not problems. But I only started using Safari again about 4 hours ago. Will let you know if I have any problems.

  • Sounds good! If you run into any issues then the team and I will be here to help. 🙂
