I've been using 1Password for about half a year, and have been mostly using it on Linux. It's been working great; it only requires my master password on a reboot or when the "require password" time ends.

I recently bought a MacBook, and am using the MacOS version of 1Password for the first time. Everything is working well, but I'm having one big issue: the master password is being requested extremely often, sometimes multiple times a day. I have the "require password" time set to once every month, and I have never failed touchID identifications.

For example, I distinctly remember adding my password yesterday, but this morning I tried to unlock the app, the touchID window poped up, I signed in, but the app didn't unlock and when I used the "cmd + \" shortcut again it asked for the master password.

I just finished writing all of this, and I tried locking and unlocking my app, and it seems like even then the touchID doesn't work. Same as the explanation above.

Thanks for any help

    Additionally, I followed the steps in the first answer provided on this thread, and it did not work.

    You described using macOS 14.2 consider updating if you have time. I don't think it will have a bearing on the issue you described but it never hurts to be fully updates. macOS 14.5 is available.

    @ag_tommy

    I tried that aswell. As a matter of fact, the restart I did to follow the steps in the other post were the update restart.

    Thank you for the tip! I'll make a report now.
