TouchID / Apple Watch unlocking cannot be enabled
The third version of the desktop app doesn't unlock with Touch ID or Apple Watch. Two versions back, the option was enabled; however, very often, the app reported that Touch ID could not be used and prompted for a password; the last two versions, the option to unlock with Touch ID or Apple Watch is either greyed out (completely unavailable) or pretends that it can be turned on, but clicking on it does nothing. It makes it very difficult to work and to use the app. Is there anything I can do? I am using the latest version of both the 1Password desktop app for Mac and the latest macOS version. The hardware is a MacBook Air (M3). Thank you very much.

I've noticed this for some time now as well.
I don't even see the Apple Watch options, just a greyed out Touch ID. And Apple Watch functions fine for unlocking my macbook pro (m1 max).
