Bug: chase.com - chrome extension fails to show 1password icon in login entry boxes
When using chase.com (personal or business) and the chrome extension is properly logged in, the 1password icon and dropdown list does not appear.
Sometimes, if I close the browser and restart it, the problem will be fixed; however, this does not always work. I have also tried to close the tab, hit the refresh web page button and also use just the 'Autofill' option from the quick extension dropdown. None of these work. The username & passwords are not filled and the manual autofill does not work.
NOTE: Other websites properly autofill and show the icon & dropdown (opening a new tab) without having to restart chrome.

OS Version: macOS 14.6.1
Browser: Chrome 128.0. 6613.119

Hello, @snoringelephant. Thank you for reaching out.
Our team was investigating an issue on secure.chase.com where the Inline menu would intermittently appear. However, I am no longer able to recreate this problem. Can you check if the issue occurs in a different browser? If not, can you test 1Password in the browser using an incognito window?
- In Chrome, right-click the 1Password icon in Chrome's toolbar and select Manage Extension.
- Turn on Allow in Incognito.
- Click the customize button ( ⋮ ) in Chrome's toolbar and select New Incognito Window.
Let me know how that goes.

Thank you for your interest and your reply.
The same thing happens when I open a new Chrome Incognito window. I opened the incognito window, clicked on the chrome extension and selected the chase.com website (Open and Fill) from the extension dropdown. After the webpage comes up and I place the focus of my cursor in the 'Username' or 'Password' fields, the 1password icon does not appear and there is no dropdown.
Interestingly enough, I tried the same thing on Safari (v17.6 - 19618.3.11.11.5 & extension v8.10.44.34) and the 'Username' and 'Password' values were filled in.... however the 1password icon and dropdown only appears on the 'Password' field. When I click in the 'Username', there is no 1password icon or dropdown...only in the 'Password' field.
On Safari:
When the cursor is in the 'Username' field:When the cursor is in the 'Password' field:
Thanks again.

@snoringelephant, I appreciate the additional information. I was able to reproduce the issue when using the Open and Fill button.
The problem you're running into aligns with the known issue our development team is tracking on Chase.com. I added you as an affected user to our internal reporting. I apologize for the inconvenience.
If you navigate directly to https://www.chase.com/ on Chrome without using the Open and fill button, does the 1Password icon appear in the password field?

On Chrome
When I type the full URL (using the exact syntax https://chase.com ) instead of using the Open and Fill button, the same behavior is observed (i.e. there is no 1Password icon and no dropdown list). The same thing happens whether in an incognito window or not.
On Safari
When I type the same full URL instead of using the Open and Fill button, both the Username & Password behave correctly (i.e. a 1Password icon and dropdown both appear).

I appreciate the additional information. Our development team is investigating this issue. In the meantime, you can use Universal Autofill from the 1Password desktop app if the Inline menu does not appear from the 1Password extension. By default, the keyboard shortcut is ( CMD⌘ + \ ) to Autofill.
I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
