1Password for Windows (Arm)
Following months of testing and feedback from our community, we're pleased to announce that 1Password is officially available for Arm-based Windows PCs. This includes full support for new Copilot+ PCs and Arm-based Surface devices.
Get 1Password for Windows (ARM64)
If you already have the 1Password desktop app installed on your Arm-based Windows PC (including the Arm preview release), uninstall it first before installing this new version. Your local accounts and data will remain.
The ARM64 release is available in the following places:
- Microsoft Store: Get 1Password on the Microsoft Store
- Direct Installer (exe): Download 1Password for Windows (ARM64)
What to know
The Arm-native version of 1Password for Windows is feature-complete and will receive automatic updates from this point forward. There are only a small number of differences from the x64 version:
- The .EXE installer is the only option currently available for ARM64 (no MSI)
- There is currently no nightly or beta channel for ARM64
- The ARM64 build is available on the Windows Store and through a link to the direct installer in this community post. The direct installer is not yet available on 1Password.com download page.
We'll keep this post updated as the above information changes. Please share any bugs and feedback about your experience in this thread!

Nice, I've been running the x64 version for months now on a Galaxy Book 4 Edge without issues. I will go ahead and switch to the arm version anyway. I'm guess we only need to uninstall the desktop app and not the browser extensions.

Thanks for reaching out. That's correct, uninstall the current version that you have installed and then install the ARM64 release using one of the links in the original post in this thread.
There's no need to reinstall 1Password in the browser. I hope that helps. 🙂
