iOS Safari: Archived logins show up
When using the Safari extension on my iOS 18.2, when I go to a page and 1P offers logins, some older logins are showing up as selections. I couldn't find these logins in 1P. Then, it occurred to me that the logins that are showing up were archived, which seems to be the issue. They are archived, but still showing as options in iOS Safari.
Only the active login shows up when I use 1P on my Mac in Chrome using the Chrome extension or Safari with the Safari extension. Even in Chrome on my iPhone, this doesn't happen. It seems to be confined to Safari iOS. Maybe this is a bug, or a setting I cannot find.
Additionally, the login that shows up under the actual spot for the username field, is correct. the Login being suggested above the keyboard is an archived one.
1Password Version: 8.10.56
Extension Version: N/A
OS Version: iOS 18.2

Hello @jefftb! 👋
I'm sorry that you're seeing an archived login being suggested by iOS AutoFill (the prompt above your keyboard). Try the following steps:
- On the Home screen of your iPhone, tap Settings.
- Tap General and then tap AutoFill & Passwords.
- Turn off 1Password.
- Turn 1Password back on.
- Make sure that all other password managers are turned off.
Then try to fill your login again using this guide: Use 1Password to fill and save on your iPhone and iPad
Do you still see the archived login being suggested?

Hi @Dave_1P. I went into settings and unchecked 1P and turned it back on. No other password managers are on (only 1P for me!!).
When I go back to the Safari website and log in, I experience the same behavior. The password being offered next to the username field (from the safari plugin, I assume?), is correct. It only shows one password and it is the current one.
At the bottom, above the keyboard, it is still suggesting an archived login. When I click on the key to the right of the incorrect login, it brings up three logins, two of which are archived, and also the current one.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't been able to reproduce the issue here on my end. Is it possible that those archived items have active duplicates that you might have saved in a different vault in 1Password? If you search for one of the items using the main 1Password app, do they appear in the search results? Archived items won't appear in search.
If you don't see the items being suggested in any of your vaults when searching for them then could you take a screenshot of both the suggestions you are seeing through AutoFill (after you click on the key icon above the keyboard) and a screenshot of the archived item from inside of the main 1Password app and send it to

along with a link to this thread? After emailing in, you'll receive a reply from BitBot, our friendly robot assistant with a Support ID that looks something like [#ABC-12345-678]. Post that here, and I'll be able to locate your message and take a look.Make sure that nothing sensitive is visible in the screenshots, you can blur or cover up anything sensitive before sending the screenshots.

Hi Dave, the archived items are not showing up in the main 1P app, on IOS or on MacOS.
So I "restored" the two archived items and then archived them again and that seemed to solve the issue.
