Switch from MAS version to beta

I bought the MAS version and am experiencing some bugs, so thought about going back to using the beta (in the hope that it will have bugs fixed in there before it appears in the MAS version).

Can I just stop using the MAS version, download the beta and use that with my existing keychain? If so I'm using iCloud to sync my primary keychain. Will I be able to continue syncing through iCloud with the beta, or does that version only sync though Dropbox?

    Hi @Jono,

    We'd love to have you continue helping out on the beta team. However, only MAS apps can support iCloud, so if you would prefer to continue syncing with iCloud, I recommend sticking with the MAS version. I can promise you that there are updates coming that should clear up some of those annoying bugs for you :)

    Actually, since writing this I trashed the MAS version and downloaded the website version. The newer version fixed my Dropbox syncing problems (syncing a secondary vault and sharing it with family), but it also keeps on syncing my primary vault though iCloud. I didn't expect it to do that, but it does :)

    Hi @Jono,

    That's great, we're working on submitting 4.0.4 soon to the Mac App Store with more sandboxing issues related to Dropbox sync. Hopefully, that should resolve all of the issues reported.

    Please do try it when it comes out, and let us know how it works out for you.
