Update to v.4 deleted all data - BE VERY CAREFUL!
Naively I upgraded from v3 when prompted by the app store - opened v4 and all my data had been lost.
I sent an urgent support request and heard nothing from (not at all) Agile bits. The mac syncs with other devices so I'm very wary of doing anything for fear of syncing all data to 0.

Someone from Agile Bits ought to write this issue in the Known Issues thread. There has been enough confirmations that the 4.0 version was botched already.

My data all disappeared, but I had carefully exported all my data before upgrading to v4 from the MAS. Still, with the sync problems and the lost attachments, I deleted the MAS one and downloaded the 4.0.1 web site version demo (which then updated itself to 4.0.2). Of course then I could not figure out how to import my 1pif file, but it was ok, I got going by undeleting my Dropbox data file. Then I had to configure an exception in Sophos to get autofill to work. Whew. Seems ok now.
Posts by Agile folks here say that we'll be able to transfer our MAS license to the web site version. The demo is only good for 30 days.

I'm sorry about the upgrade issues. There were sandboxing issues in the Mac App Store version that we couldn't foresee that prevents importing of data including attachments. We've fixed several bugs in the 4.0.3 update with more coming in the 4.0.4 update soon. That should clear up most of the reported import/Dropbox issues.
