is every connection only the icon download thing?

    The rink.hockeyapp.net is the beta channel used for checking for updates etc. If I am not mistaken.

    The cloudfront one should be the rich icons.

    Hi @jmkw,

    Hockeyapp is for checking for updates, crash reporting if you've submitted reports, and the rest is CloudFront, which is where our Rich Icons are stored.

    Cloudfront CDN are used by a lot of companies, the names can varies on the same IP address as they are often on same shared servers, which is why you see these names instead of our own CloudFront name.
