1Password 4 for Mac extension install issues
I have just updated from version 3 to 4 and am having problems. The main program appears to have installed properly, but I am unable to install the Firefox and Chrome extensions. My platform is OS X v 10.8.5
After closely following the uninstall instructions, I have deleted the Firefox extension for version 3. When attempting to install the version 4 extension I receive this error message. "1Password could not be installed because it is not compatible with Firefox 19.0.2." Repeat attempts produce the same result. My version of Firefox is the most current. How can I install this extension?
I have deleted the Chrome extension for Version 3. When attempting to install the version 4 extension, the Chrome page reads, "1Password extension is downloading", but no download occurs. A big red button on the bottom of that page reads "Add to Chrome" but it remains red and unclickable. Please address this problem too.
These are serious issues and, at this point, I am sorry that I opted to upgrade. Please help!

The current version of Firefox is actually 24.0 - that's likely your issue installing on Firefox. http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
I'm not sure what's happening in Chrome though.
It works fine for me clicking the "Add to Chrome" button on this page: https://agilebits.com/browsers/download/chrome?beta=false
It also works on the Chrome Web Store: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/1password/aomjjhallfgjeglblehebfpbcfeobpgk
Maybe make sure you're using the current version of Chrome as well - 30.0.1599.69.0 -
Hi guys,
@captainrb, did you follow JasperP's suggestions? You have to be running the latest version of Firefox and Chrome in order for the 1Password extensions to work. This is also true for the 1Password 3 extensions.
