BETA Build Expired
Not sure what is happening here, but trying to open the full version of 1Password4 brings following message "BETA Build expired. Please download and install the latest Beta build".
I was not aware that I have a beta version when i bought it. The mini version is running fine.
What shall I do?

I have that exact problem, I can open and use 1Password mini/browser extension but not the Mac app.

I ran into this issue with the Agilebits store version. I solved it by downloading the current version from the Agilebits site and installing it rather than relying on the automatic update function.

For anyone still needing to see an explanation of this problem see this knowledge base article. However, the problem happened a number of versions back so it seems odd people are seeing it now (unless you've missed a lot of recent updates—and, presumably, not been using 1P4 much!). I'm assuming you've not actually been running the betas and don't have Include beta builds checked in Preferences > Updates.

I did what oshloel wrote and now it works perfectly again, thank you!

I am still seeing this message. I experienced it from the first release build, then had to manually installed the version I have no 4.05. I have been prompted to install 4.09 for a couple of weeks, but it NEVER installs, just downloads, pretends to install and then pops up telling me I have 4.05. I've gone to use 1Password today and I am now told that my 'Beta Build' (that I never installed) is expired. I don't know what you've done, but your reliability in the version 4.x seems to have suffered from the 3.x builds I was using that a, never prompted me to update and then fail and b, didn't stop working (and guess what, I only need to use 1Password when I actually NEED to use 1Password!) randomly.

Hi Clifford,
I'm so sorry to hear that you're having troubles updating here! Let's try this:
- Quit 1Password
- Go to https://agilebits.com/downloads and download 1Password.
- Unzip the package
- Drag into Applications and choose 'Replace'
Does this help?
