Dates are out by 1 day [will be fixed in a future update]

Hi,

I've been a long running user of 1Password. Just lately I have noticed again that dates, especially on the passport type are all out by -1 day. Is this a known bug?

I'm not sure whether upgrading to 1Password 4 from 3 has caused this, or swapping machines due to a crashed disk and restoring from a SuperDuper image, or upgrading to Mountain Lion.

Thanks,

J

PS. I'm in Europe in CET time zone.

    The are a couple of reports from users, including me, of double entires for issue and expiry dates for passwords. One set is one day earlier than the other correct set. I have edited those out of my records and they haven't reappeared. But for my spouse's record I still see both sets of fields, as well as two birth dates, one a day earlier than the other, correct, date.

    I posted a screen capture here.

    I have also seen this issue. In my passport entry, the date of birth, date issued and expiry have all been changed to be one day earlier.

    I'm running the latest 1Password on Mac (purchased through MAS), iOS and Windows. I sync exclusively through Dropbox. The passport entry was last modified in December of 2012.

    Hi Jonathan, @hawkmoth and @rgsteele,

    This is a known issue that our developers are currently tracking down. While we're not yet quite sure where this bug is coming in, there is some suspicion that changing time zones could be a factor. We appreciate your patience as we work to get this sorted out!

    @Megan,

    Well, for my part, I began to use 1Password 3 on Central Time and that is when I created my password records first. But I began beta testing on Pacific Time. That's where I was when I moved all of my data to earlier versions of 1Password 4. Perhaps that shift created my duplicate dates. Maybe that information will help.

    Hi @hawkmoth,

    Thanks so much for passing that information along! I'll let our developers know, and hopefully it will help solve this. :)
