Problems with Database Notification using Safari 6.1 and MacOS 10.7.5

I have seen this problem posted but it appeared to be with Maverick and not an older OS such as I am using.
It is most annoying to pay for a product you are unable to use - I hope to get a fast reply.

Hey @ArchieR,

First of all, I'm assuming that you are using 1Password 3 even though this is in the 1Password 4 forum. If you are trying to do something with 1Password 4, it requires OS X 10.8 or later, so that will be a problem considering you are using 10.7.

But, give this possible fix a try:

"Problem with database" in v3 extension in Safari on OS X Mavericks

I realize that you're not using Mavericks, but it could likely still fix your problem.
