I have two icons in my menu bar for 1Password Mini. When I go into my 1Password preferences and turn off the menu bar option only one icon disappears from the menu bar. How do I remove the other instance from the menu bar?

1Password Version 4.0.8 (408001)
OS X 10.9 (13A603)

    Hi, @earthdog.

If you've previously used 1Password 3 you might still have its browser extension(s) installed, causing an extra 1P icon to appear in your menu bar. See this article for information what to do about that:

    Multiple 1Password Icons

Another possibility is that you have the 1Password mini helper enabled for multiple versions of 1Password 4. If you're only using the MAS version (currently 4.0.8) then you can disable the 1P mini helper for our webstore or beta version by running these two commands in a Terminal.app window:

    launchctl stop 2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits.onepassword4-helper
    launchctl remove 2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits.onepassword4-helper

More detailed instructions how to do that are: here.

Please let me know if that helps banish the extra 1P menu bar icon.
