Connection to cdn.ca9.uscourts.gov

Today, when updating to 1Password 4.1.1 on my Mac, LittleSnitch detected that the updater was trying to connect to cdn.ca9.uscourts.gov. Did anyone notice this as well? If so, what does this have to do with 1Password?!?!

    Hey @garbi,

    1Password downloads its updates from Amazon CloudFront. But since the CloudFront servers are used by many companies, LittleSnitch could report one of the CNAME records that points to the same address.

    If you go to http://www.ca9.uscourts.gov, you'll see that they use CloudFront as well. Another user reported that LittleSnitch said the update was coming from assets.tumblr.com.

    But if you're concerned about using the 1Password Updater, you could always download the latest version of 1Password 4 from the AgileBits downloads page and manually install the update.
