1Password 4 not autofilling with Safari
How do I get the autofill to work with Safari 7.0 Maverick and 1password 4?
I have read some forums and nothing works?

Hi--
First, I would make sure that you have the appropriate Browser Extension installed. If you already have the correct Safari extension installed, we can get a better idea of what's happening (or not, in this case) if you please email us a Diagnostics Report from your Mac that's having this problem; instructions are here:
Sending us your Diagnostics Report to help us help you!
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forum, but do include a link to this topic and your forum username in the email so we can "connect the dots" when we receive it. A quick comment here mentioning that you've sent it would also be helpful. Thanks in advance!

I'm experiencing this problem after upgrading to 4. I have removed the old extension, removed the ~/Library/Database contents, emptied the trash and re-loaded the browser and the 1P app. Still won't autofill logins. Will reference this note in my support email.

Same for me. I have a MacBook and an iMac. Both with mavericks and 1Password4. iMac is working, MacBook is not. I disabled all other extensions. Reinstall 1Password extensions. Disabled stuff like LittleSnitch. Still not working. It shows me the correct logins in the extension menu, even in the mini tool using context menu. But it never fills out any login.

I'm sorry you're having trouble getting 1Password 4 working with Safari. Here are some suggestions for fixing it, some or all which you may have already tried:
Make sure that Always keep 1Password mini running is enabled under Preferences… > General.
Try restarting 1Password mini, preferably after a system restart.
Give these troubleshooting tips a try:
And if you're still stuck after that please email us a Diagnostics Report, referring to @eva_s's earlier reply. Thanks!

I am having the same issue as well. I have run through the troubleshooting tips (http://learn.agilebits.com/1Password4/Mac/en/KB/filling-issues.html), and have uninstalled and reinstalled the Safari extension and restarted 1Password Mini. Nothing has working, so I am emailing my diagnostic report as well. Thanks.

Hi, Brian.
I'm sorry you're having trouble with 1P4 form filling on web pages. Please try disabling this Animate form filling option under Preferences… > Browser and let me know if that helps:
Note that it probably won't make a difference if you're also having trouble with filling in non-Safari browsers.

I have no idea what is going on either because I'm too old or not smart enough, but I can see from all the post that there something wrong with the Safari Extension. Things work fine for me, regarding 1P, on Firefox. What does not happen in Safari are:
-When on I log into a new site 1P doesn't chime in.
-If I do it in Firefox the process is recorded both in the Firefox Extension an 1P app.
-Safari extension doesn't recognize the new listing at all. There is SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE SAFARI EXTENSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, @macalp.
I'm sorry you're also having trouble with 1P4 form filling in Safari. I've moved your post into a similar topic with some suggestions.
Could you please mention what you've already tried to get it working? And which versions of 1P4 and OS X are you running? Thanks!

Resolved. I was having the same issue using Safari 7.0.5 on Mavericks (10.9.4), with 1Password4. This is resolved for me by the following tips in the previous comments.
- Uninstall and reinstall 1Password Safari Extension to 4.2.3.
- Turned off "Animate Form Filling".
Hopefully this helps anyone if they still are having this issue.
