Disabling 1Password 4 for Mac Temporarily?

Hello all,

Sorry if this is in here already, did not find it.

I am editing an online Membership System (CMS) and every time I give someone login credentials, 1password prompts me to save the data. I am editing 100 people and I don't need any of these in my 1password database. Is it possible to disable 1password for a short period of time, so I can add/edit these customers?

Thanks!

  • Hey @SuperAxman,

I'm not certain if this is what you're asking, but you can disable the auto-save prompt in 1Password > Preferences > Browser. You can also disable it for certain domains only.

Let me know if that helps! :)

Hello @JasperP. Thank you for the suggestion. I don't seem to have the box to enter the domains. I get the same dialogue box, however without the part your arrow was pointing to.

  • @SuperAxman Was 1Password unlocked when you looked at the preferences? That box won't display unless your vault is unlocked.
