Auto backup from 1Password 3 remains after upgrade
I upgraded from 1Password 3 to 1Password 4 for Mac. After that, I deleted the old 1Password 3 from the Applications folder. Still, I see that 1Password 3 is making backups automatically when I log in. I know because if I look in Library>Application Support>1Password>Backups there are files in there from today, yesterday, etc. There are also current files in Library>Application Support>1Password 4>Backups so that is working just fine.
Also, there are popup notifications from the 1Password 3 backup as well as the 1Password 4 backup. I can tell which is which because the icon is different.
How do I finish the removal of 1Password 3 so I can stop this double backup? Thanks,

There is a helpful little discussion about uninstalling 1P3, with some useful links, in this thread (on the legacy forum).

I tried to download and run the uninstaller mentioned in that thread but I got the message that it cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. So I worked through the manual uninstall and I'll see how it goes now. Thanks,

If you do want to try running the uninstaller check your security settings in OS X System Preferences > Security & Privacy Allow apps downloaded from... You may need to change that to either Mac App Store and identified developers or Anywhere. (Of course, you can always change it back again after running the installer if you wish.)
