New Passwords not updating on other devices via Dropbox [moved to email]

This problem is long overdue, we've had the issue for a while and hoped version 4 would solve it but we are still stuck!

To keep this simple

I have a Mac and so does my Wife. If I make a new password, she will not get the update on her end. And if she makes a new password I will not see the update on my end.

We share the EXACT same Dropbox folder. I have checked that we are sharing the same key file and we are.

I'm stumped.

    I'm sorry you're having trouble with Dropbox syncing 1Password data between you and your wife's Macs.

    Which versions of 1P4 and OS X are you running? If 4.1, this might be the issue:

    1Password Losing Sync Permissions after System Restart [MAS]

    It will be resolved in the 4.1.2 MAS update, currently in Apple's review process:

    • Rebooting no longer causes sync to fail when using a custom location in the Dropbox folder.

    Presumably that implies you also had Dropbox syncing issues with 1Password 3?

    It sounds like there's a deeper underlying issue that a Diagnostics Report could help us isolate and resolve. Please send one from at least one of your Macs and preferably both; instructions are here:

    Yes, you are correct. We had the problem before switching to version 4.
