    Just got a notice that I should upgrade to 1Password 4.1.3. Hey, I already upgraded to 4.1.3 on January 7, and when I tried to use the upgrade, it said I had to pay for it again. Are you trying to do that again? What kind of upgrade policy is that? This all seems very fishy. No thanks.

    No, this isn't "fishy". It looks something like the problem described here http://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/19890/1password-4-for-mac-is-asking-me-to-buy-1password-now#latest, but not exactly. In any case, a valid 4.x license is still valid for 4.1.3. I've been seeing the described behavior on three different computers where 1P is suddenly acting like it isn't registered anymore.

    To this thread - today, at least one of them (not sure about others yet) is prompting me to upgrade to 4.1.3. It says "An upgrade to 4.1.3 is available. You have 4.1.3."

    It almost feels like something in 4.1.3 (or a recent upgrade) is causing 1P to forget things. The "no license" thing is happening on 10.8 and 10.9 systems. I'm 100% positive that I added the license to all of them when I upgraded some months back.

    @dsebald

    They re-released v 4.1.3 to fix an issue introduced in the original. So I assume that is the cause of you noticing an earlier update then the same on again.

    @rhornsby is correct about the licensing issues. Please see the post that was linked to.

    Oh, durh. If I would have read the release description:

    "4.1.3 (build #413002)

    This is a re-release of version 4.1.3 to address some issues in license validation. There are some great improvements and fixes in this update based on your feedback."

    Hi guys,

    I'm sorry if this has caused some confusion. As you all now know this is indeed, requoting what @rhornsby quoted, simply "a re-release of version 4.1.3 to address some issues in license validation". :)

    The build number was incremented from 413001 to 413002.

    @oriste

    Its a re release of that version (4.1.3). I would recommend updating .

    The release notes explain that it is a re-release. I updated without incident.

    Ok some admin has been merging threads I think. LOL my posts are out of order. Oh well as long as you all get the ideas.

    That somewhat-out-of-order-merging admin would be me, @thightower, intentionally stealthily since this is a re-release did seem clear enough for everyone to get the idea regardless of where it ended up mentioned and seen in this single topic. :)

    Today when I use 1Password I get a window that appears that says a new version of 1Password is available. The strange thing about it is that it says "1Password 4.1.3 is now available. You are currently using version 4.1.3". What's up with that?

    They reissued 4.1.3 a day or so ago. So you are seeing what you are supposed to see. You'll see the mention in the release notes when you go to update.

    Hi, @deh2k.

    I've merged your topic with a similar one about this issue, with several replies mentioning this is a re-release of 4.1.3. I hope that helps. :)
