Username with a leading zero has it knocked off

I have a numeric value which has a leading zero for a username. Not my choice! The field should be treated as all characters should it not so that any leading zeros are maintained. Is this something I can tweak within 1P4 or is this an "undocumented feature"?

Might this also apply to other fields, like passwords??

Ah.... my db was sort of imported from another proggi via CSV and having been played with using Excel. I think I have the culprit now. 1P4 is "not guilty". :D
