Setting up existing entries so they automatically log into websites?

I have lots of logins to websites that I created manually by copying the URL, username and password into a new entry. Is there a way to now convert these somehow so that when I click on the URL it automatically logs into the website?

    If you click on the URL in the 1Password record for your login, it should open your browser and fill in your credentials. If the login page is different from the main site, though, be sure you gave recorded the exact URL for the login page.

    If you go to a web site and open the login page, then click the key icon in that the extension installed in your browsers, it should also fill in your credentials. Or even better, simultaneously hold the Command and \ keys to have it fill in your credentials that way.
