How to import an existing second pw-vault?

Hi, i am using 1password quite a lot and i am going to establish the use of 1password with multiple vaults in our company. Now i am trying to synchronize multiple vaults between different computers. Which is actually no problem with the primary vault.

My question is now, how to "import" an existing vault (on a network drive) as a second vault - it seems like there is no option in the menu for that. The only two options i found are create new vault (which means a new local vault) and create demo vault.

I would appreciate any hints.

    Hi @florian_b‌,

The instructions on how to share a non-primary vault will tell you how to share a vault from start to finish, but if the vault is already on a network drive, adding it to 1Password is easy. Try this:

    • Unlock 1Password
    • Open a Finder window to the networked drive and find the vault (with the .agilekeychain suffix)
    • Double click on the .agilekeychain
    • 1Password will prompt you to create a new vault - you can customize the colour of the vault icon here, then type in the shared Master Password for the vault.
    • Click on 'Create Vault' to load all the existing data into your new secondary vault.

And that's all there is to it! :)
