1P and Safari 6.1.3?

I no longer seem to be able to use the Safari extension - I think it's only since installing Safari 6.1.3, not very long ago. (Running Mountain Lion 10.8.5)

The main app and mini still function fine but when I try to use the Safari extension, I get the 'code signature' verification error dialogue. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the extension (including the latest 4.0.0 beta), relaunched 1P and Safari, all without success.

I know how to override the verification feature, but before I try that, I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this with Safari 6.1.3 ?

Thanks

Steven

PS I should add that I also now see the 'Add Safari Extension' prompt at the top of the Mini pulldown - but the extension is definitely installed and enabled.

    Hi @sjn,

I'm sorry that the 1Password extension for Safari is being uncooperative for you. Have you tried using the 1Password extension with any other browser?

Has your system been restarted since this problem started? And do you have Sophos AV or other firewall installed/enabled on your system? If Sophos, please double-check that it's configured as described/shown in this article:

    Configuring Sophos

We've seen cases where its configuration has been unexpectedly reset.

Another thing to check is if you have other copies of 1Password 4 installed somewhere. There've been instances where another version may have been interfering with extension usage.

If none of that helps resolve this issue, please send us a Diagnostics Report from your Mac, along with a link to this topic, to support+forum@agilebits.com. A brief comment here mentioning that you've sent the report would also be helpful.

Once we see the report we'll have more insight into what's causing the problem and suggestions for how to fix it. Thanks in advance!

Thanks sjk - Sophos was the problem!

I completely forgot that I had updated it (the app, not just the virus profile) before the problem appeared. Configuring as per the instructions solved it.

I should mention that I also sent a support request via email last night - if you see that, please feel free to ignore it.

    Thanks again for the help

    Steven
