Paypal Login Not Working

Just bought 1Password 4 for Mac at the weekend to take advantage of the Heartbleed sale.
Have installed extensions for Chrome and subsequently for Safari.
In both cases (Chrome and Safaris) I cannot get the auto-login for Paypal to work. The username field is being auto-populated, but the password field is not. I've tried using the extensions and also opening the site from within the 1Password app on the Mac. No luck.
Incidentally I'm also having an issue with NAB - in this case the site returns an error saying my username and password combination are incorrect.
I have double-checked the fields in the APP (username and password) and they are all filled out with the correct values.
In the process of trying to migrate from Lastpass to 1Password - Lastpass works like a charm....

Ok - so just uninstalled everything and reinstalled from scratch, and Paypal now works. NAB still doesn't. Possibly just an issue as it's an online banking login? Anyone got this working with NAB? I'm guessing banks are going to be tricky with their authentication.

    Hi @bartkuiper‌

I'm sorry to hear that you've been having trouble with 1Password lately. Generally if you're having trouble with one particular Login, the easiest way to ensure that 1Password has the correct details saved is to manually save a new copy of the Login. Let's try this:

    • Edit the login that you currently have for this website by appending an "Old" to the title - just so you can tell them apart.
    • Visit the site and fill in the fields you want filled. Do NOT click the login button.
    • Click the 1Password extension, and unlock it if necessary.
    • Click the gear icon (or vault icon if multiple vaults are enabled) in the upper right corner.
    • Select Save new login.
    • Give the entry a unique and identifiable title.
    • Click Save.
    • Revisit the site and see if 1Password fills in the site correctly.

If that doesn't work, could you let us know the site's address so we can test it?

    Hi Megan,

Thanks for your reply, much appreciated.

The site I am accessing is NAB (National Australia Bank) - http://www.nab.com.au/
When you click on the Login button, a new screen pops up prompting you to enter your ID and Password.

I think the issue is that it's a new screen that pops up.
I have tried creating a new entry in 1Password, with the correct ID and password, and using the URL of the pop-up screen as the web site, but it doesn't work. An error is returned stating the password is incorrect. I have double checked the password stored in 1Password is correct (by manually copying it and entering it into the web form to ensure it works). When manually copying and pasting the password that is stored into the web form it works. It's just when trying to log in automatically that it fails.

Not sure how you can resolve this, 1Password had no issues with this.

    Thanks

    Hi @bartkuiper‌

Thanks for passing along that URL! You're right, that is a bit of a tricky site. Now, because I don't have an account with the bank, I'm only able to test the filling itself (I obviously will never get properly logged in). But here's what I did:

    • Go to http://www.nab.com.au/
    • Click the 'Login' button
    • When the new window opens, hit ⌘\
    • 1Password Mini opens and I select the 'NAB' Login
    • 1Password fills and submits (with a 'you have entered incorrect information' message)

Does this work for you? We may not be able to get this process 100% automatic, but I hope these steps make logging in here a bit easier.
