i upgraded to version 4.4 but somehow my iPhone still has 3.8.20 ??? how do i resolve this because i can't sync between them now

    4.4 does relate to the mac which is where you've posted this but I am wondering about your use of the word somehow. The OS X version and the iOS version are completely different beasts and upgrading one doesn't confer an upgrade for the other. If you were expecting the iOS version to be upgraded too then sorry but I'll be the bearer of bad news on this occasion. I believe you'll need to purchase their new version for iOS to have them sync again.
