If I load passwords on my Mac running 1Password, will they sync with my 1Password iPhone app?

They can do yes. You can sync via Dropbox, iCloud or WiFi. WiFi has it's issues regarding attachments and you can only sync secondary vaults via Dropbox at the moment.

You sure can sync 1Password data between your Mac and iPhone!

Your choices are Dropbox, iCloud, or Wi-Fi (with issues that @littlebobbytables helpfully mentioned) syncing. Here are some guides to help you with setting it up:

It's easiest to do first on your Mac. Do you already have any 1Password data on your iPhone?
