Autofill on PayPal site causing PayPal to time out

I've noticed that if I use the autofill to make PayPal purchases (Mac OSX 10.9 with Chrome extension) I get an error from PayPal which says "Your session has timed out, please log in again."
However....if I copy the password to the clipboard, it works fine.
Any suggestions?

  • Hi Obe,

    I'll have the developers look into this to see what is going on with filling. Thanks for the heads up.

    Hi Chris,

    I've been experiencing the same issue for a while now, just checking if there is any update on this?
    It's not a big problem as you can just copy the password manually, just gets a little frustrating after a while.

    Cheers,
    Allan.

    Hi guys,

    @HelloAllan,

    I can't reproduce this. Can you tell me if you're opening the Paypal item from 1Password app/mini or are you visiting the Paypal site and asking 1Password to fill in?

    I have the same problem, but only sometimes. It happens when I visit Paypal through some shop and then ask 1Password to fill in.

    @ipreuss, do you mean 1Password fills your PayPal info correctly when you visit the main PayPal.com website, just not when you need to authorize a PayPal payment from another site?

    When you try to get 1Password to fill your PayPal credentials, are you clicking the 1Password extension in your browser, or using the ⌘\ keyboard shortcut?

    It may also help if you can let us know which version of 1Password you're using, the version of the 1Password extension, the web browser & version, and Mac OS version. Thanks!
