Request: More fine-grained control over password generation UX
The password recipe currently allows the user to select among four distinct options via a radio button (Hyphen, Digits, Symbols, None)
This doesn't offer sufficient control to generate passwords compliant with all websites, for instance, those that require numbers and symbols.
Could you refine the password generation to provide a multi-select interface combining the password characteristics specified by the user?

Thanks MikeT, both solutions/workarounds worked for me.
I think the request is still valid though. There's nothing intuitive about the Pronounceable switch that would make me think that's how to get the benefit of alphanumeric combined with symbols in a generated password, which is a requirement of at least one site I use (concursolutions, com—unfortunately).
Either way, thanks for the great software!

Hi @Jake Gibbons
I'm glad that Mike's suggestion helped you out a little bit. I do apologize that the password generation options were not more clear to being with. I'll pass your feedback (and your kind words about 1Password) along!
If you have any further questions or concerns, we're here to help!

I wanted to add my thoughts here as well. I utilize XKPasswd to generate certain passwords because of its flexibility in creating a unique recipe. It would be very useful if 1Password would allow a plugin for password generators. I use XKPasswd as a perl module.
