Support for logins assigned to specific browsers?
Hi, I have two use cases dealing with signing in to specific browsers that I can't figure out.
In the first case I need to sign into an application using Safari, but my default browser is Chrome. I can't get 1Password to autofill when I'm not in my default browser. Is there a way for 1Password to use a certain browser for some logins? This is not an unusual case because there are many apps that only support certain browsers. I'm forced to use Chrome for some apps and Safari for others based on what the app supports.
In the other case I created two user accounts associated with Chrome. As an employee for a certain company I needed to log into an online app as a real user and also into a demo account of the same app. The two accounts in Chrome allowed our backend systems to properly manage the activity in the two accounts simultaneously without crossing wires. When I'm logged into Chrome under one account I can't get 1Password to autofill the fields in the second Chrome account.
It seems that if you could add a field in 1Password login that allowed a user to denote the default browser this login worked on that would do it. Not sure on the second user case if you could add a two part login. The first to get into the correct browser and the second to get into the app of choice.
Thanks!

Hi @Matt7johnson,
Thanks for taking the time to write to us :+1:
1Password will only open and fill logins in the default browser. There is no way to designate a specific browser to a specific login at this time.
Have you tried using cmd+tab to switch the frontmost application to the desired browser, the to use opt+cmd+\ to pop 1Password mini and choose the desired login to fill or simple use cmd+\ to fill? Does this work for you?
Cheers!
