Feedback/Suggestion - Bike/Vehicle/etc Serial numbers

It would be cool if you added a category for Serial numbers (other than just software serials/licenses). If your bike (or anything else for that matter) gets stolen (as mine did) the police ask for your serial number or VIN for your car, so it's a good thing to have handy somewhere.

Thank you for your suggestion! Although I can't promise anything, I'll be happy to pass your request along to our developers. I'm sure other customers would find that useful as well! For now, you can store data in Secure Notes if there's not a more suitable category.

I would like to see this addition, too. Someplace to keep the SSN for my printer, Apple devices, camera, etc. I'm using Software Licenses category now, but having the right fields like Purchase Date, etc. would be great!

Thanks so much for sharing your feedback here! While we don't yet have a specific category for serial numbers, 1Password's custom fields have gotten an awesome update in version 5.3 (which was just released today!)

In this update, you can now add sections and custom fields (with a bunch of available field types) to Secure Notes. This makes the category an awesome place to store all of that data that didn't quite fit into other categories.

(this is just a quick example with odd numbers typed in, but I hope it gives you an idea of the new versatility of this category. I hope it helps, while we work on re-imagining categories to be more useful for everyone!
